Brewed for the NZ Stout Challenge 2023. The Deep is a beer as dark as the deepest ocean, pouring an inky black with a tight tan head. A complex base of seven different malts gives this NZ Stout bold and smooth flavours of rich brown bread, burnt toffee and dark chocolate. Generous hopping with NZ Superdelic and Pacific Gem provide top notes of ripe berries and shrewsbury biscuits. Allow this stout to rise to room temperature to open up the full flavour profile.
